When Pantone 2019 Color of the Year was announced – Living Coral – I’ll be honest, I was skeptical. Yes, coral is a gorgeous color but it’s not ALWAYS wearable for all skintones, but a TON of brands have been inspired by Living Coral and they are hitting HOME RUNS with this shade. The Juvia’s Place Nubian 3 Coral Eyeshadow Palette sold out a few times already, and I was lucky to grab it in its first restock, and as soon as I saw it, I wanted to put it on, and so I did! Ready?!
First off, the packaging is stunning and has golden mirror accents that are stunning. This palette is perfect for cool-toned and warm-toned lovers. This is a super wearable and versatile palette. Truth be told, I was sold by the cool-tones.
This is one of those times where I personalized my crease with 3 shades and left the eyelid super simple. The 4th shade in the 2nd row was applied in the crease, then I added a little bit of the 2nd shade in 2nd row, and finally, added the 2nd shade in the 1st row to finalize. All were then blended and the 2nd shade in the 1st row was applied all over the lid as a base. Finally I used the 3rd shade in the 1st row and applied it from the center outwards. The 1st shade in the 1st row was then applied in the inner corner to the center.
These shades are lovely and rich. I did have a little difficulty with some of the mattes, as they were not as pigmented as the Masquerade Palette by Juvia’s Place. Will you be picking up this palette!?
Purchased by me. All opinions are honest and my own.
