Monochromatic makeup is one of my favorite trends right now. This trend gives you the pass to wear one color in all different hues, so the Huda Beauty Obsessions palettes (which come in 5 shades) were a must have for me. I’m going to post all five palettes in their own dedicated post because I want to share the #EOTD, the swatches, and discuss how I felt about each color story. Emeralds stand for “Stone of Successful Love”, which brings freshness and vitality to the spirit while soothing the heart. Instead of envy, it inspires and embodies unity, infinite patience, and compassion.
The Huda Beauty Emerald Obsessions palette is filled with 9 lovely hues of green boasting 6 duo chrome shimmers and 3 mattes. My biggest complaint is the shades do not have names, so it’s really difficult to explain how I did an #EOTD, but I will try my best to give as much detail as possible!
To create the #EOTD, I used the olive matte in the crease and under the waterline, the deep forest green to the left to shade the inner (lightly) and outer lids. The lightest mint matte was used all over the lid, the mint glitter underneath was used super lightly in the center.
Eyeliner on the lash line is ColourPop BFF Liquid Liner in The Hills. Waterline is ColourPop Eyeliner Pencil in Maybe. Mascara is ColourPop BFF Mascara in Black on Black.
Do you own this gorgeous palette? This is definitely perfect for the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day!
