Hair – for a woman, especially, can be quite troublesome. Not the one we style, by the way! I’m speaking about hair on the face! Hormones may control the way the hair grows on our faces and body, but is there a way to remove it without pain AND instantly? I ventured out last May to test it out for you. I have been using it since May 2018, so I could give you a good report on whether or not you should try it out because believe me, I was extremely hesitant.
My biggest question was (and most likely, a question those of you have) is that whether or not my hair would come back thicker or quicker (and even darker)? I decided to use it twice a month – once at the beginning of the month and once at the end of the month. My hair growth looks exactly the same, and I found out that it is actually a myth – hair grows back the same – sometimes it appears to be thicker because once the hair starts to come back, it actually is thicker at the base, but then it thins out. I was still hesitant, as this can still be different person to person. I tried it out on my arms before I tried it on my face (back in May), and once the hair grew back, I had the confidence to try it on my face. How long did it take for my hair to come back, you ask? About a month or so. My hair grows fairly quickly! I also noticed that when I get cold, my hair follicles stand tall (aka, goosebumps) and tend to make my hair come back even faster. NOT SURE if this is a myth or fact, so if you are an expert, please let me know in the comments! Getting back on subject, the hair on my arms did come back exactly the same EXCEPT (and I may not have noticed it before I removed the hair, so this could be a “fluke”) that the hair on my wrist appeared darker and thicker. Not to the point where it was like “Oh, my God!” so it probably was that way before, anyway! So, how does the Flawless by the Flawless Finishing Touch work?!
Using spinning Technology, Flawless by Finishing Touch precisely, and microscopically, removes even the finest of hairs without redness or irritation to the skin. This revolutionary product delivers perfect results. It’s the other “Lip-stick” you won’t want to be without.finishingtouchflawless.com
Pain. That was another thing I was absolutely hesitant about. I’m not a fan of “beauty is pain”. There is always a way around that, believe me. Waxing was a horrible experience for me when I was in high school. I waxed my eyebrows and I immediately broke out into a zillion little tiny bumps all around them. It was miserable, and the eyebrow lady also (it was the 2000s) made them way too thin and short, and I’ve dealt with those same eyebrows since because they REFUSE to grow back (castor oil, be darned!). That’s another story altogether. Shaving seems to work for some, but I wasn’t willing to do that myself. Threading, to me, sounded like waxing, so it was an immediate no for me. I have heard from plenty of women that removing the hair on their face was a game changer because it allowed the makeup to anchor even more flawlessly than before.
The best part about the Flawless by Flawless Finishing Touch? It’s the size of a lipstick, so you can toss it into your makeup bag AND it’s gentle enough to use every single day. I don’t because I feel like I’m allowing the hair to slow its growth? Not sure if that makes sense, but that’s just my own personal opinion and choice. Now, you’re probably wondering, “Well, great, thanks for all your opinions, but show your results!” Am I right? Don’t worry, getting there!
Yes, the hair on my arm is barely visible beforehand, but it made SUCH a huge difference. My arm felt amazingly soft, not that the hair put too much damper on that, but you could feel how smooth it felt. After the hair grew back, I began using it on my face, and I have been using it since. Another question you may have, “Have you had any ingrown hairs?” I had read in a review that someone developed an ingrown hair, and what I have to say to this is you need to move the Flawless by Flawless Finishing Touch in a circular manner (not running it across your face several times unless necessary), and make sure you clean the blades with the given brush. Again, this doesn’t necessarily mean the person used it incorrectly or is doing something wrong, per se, this could be from something else in their routine, diet, health, etc to cause an ingrown hair. So, this is something you have to test on a patch of skin to make sure this works with AND for you.
This device is battery-operated (the battery was included), so you would need to replace it after some time. I’ve had mine since May, and I have not yet needed to. Again, I also only use mine once or twice a month, or as needed.
Another feature I forgot to mention is that the Flawless has a built-in light, which can be incredibly useful in certain lightings.
The Flawless by Flawless Finishing Touch is incredibly easy to use – circular motions (instructions are, of course, included) will quickly and painlessly remove the hair you choose with a touch of the button (the vertical on/off switch seen below the light). This discreet product can be tossed alongside your other numerous lipsticks for use when needed! The price is affordable, as well, and the blades can also be replaced (mine are about there!) Around August 2018, I also purchased the Flawless by Flawless Finishing Touch for Legs. Let me give you a little spoiler alert: I will NOT miss shaving my legs, for sure.
What do you think about this little device? Would you like me to review the Flawless by Flawless Finishing Touch for Legs? Have you tried either? What was your experience? Share in the comments! I would love to hear about it!
Purchased by me. All opinions are honest and my own.
