As much as I adore makeup (don’t worry – we’ll still talk about it often!), it’s quite important to pay attention to your skin, as well. My skin can flare up easily from the wrong products or bad diet regimen, so I have to focus on my 8 glasses per day and a balanced diet, otherwise it shows up on my face immediately! But, with the help of Paula’s Choice, I have definitely seen my skin improve. I have been asked several times to share my skincare routine, but truth be told, there is none. I just listen to my body and skin, and use the products it needs in the moment, so let’s talk about this amazing serum by Paula’s Choice called Resist Omega+ Complex.
The packaging is chic, and I adore the pump-style bottle for serums, so that the bottle/container stays clean. This serum is opaque rather than clear, but it nourishes your skin when it needs a little boost. Everybody can use a little boost, am I right? My favorite tip is to wear it and get some fresh air immediately afterwards, if possible. This kind of gives it a little bit of oxygen to give it an even further boost. If this is not possible, try using the ever-popular jade rollers, or something similar to quickly allow it to soak properly into your skin. This isn’t necessary, as a quick massage of the face will also help.
How do I use my serums? I prefer using them under my toner, exfoliating lotion, and moisturizer. Yes, my dry skin prefers wearing all of the above in order to stay hydrated and nourished. I try to make sure I am wearing all these under my foundation, as well, to keep the foundation sitting on top of my skin instead of getting into my pores. This does help prevent breakouts for me.
Here’s Paula’s Choice’s suggestion:
“Superfood for your skin! Omega fatty acids in this serum strengthen skin’s surface with the essential nutrients needed for healthy, hydrated, visibly stronger skin.
- Fortifies skin against environmental damage
- Lightweight formula nourishes skin’s moisture barrier
- Use twice daily after cleansing, toning & exfoliating”
Have you tried serums like this before? What do you like or dislike about them? Give me your best tips for wearing them! I’d love to hear more.
