ColourPop recently collaborated with Becky G, a musician/actress, their first collaboration with a music artist. You may know her from the Power Rangers film.
The collaboration contains the following pieces:
- Salvaje Eyeshadow Palette
- Salvaje Lip Bundle: 2 Ultra Satin Lips and 3 Ultra Matte Lips
- 2 Luster Dust Loose Highlighters (which I did not purchase)
The Salvaje Eyeshadow Palette is made up of 12 gorgeous, spicy pressed powder eyeshadows. These are super versatile and can be used to create many different looks going from day to night easily. The packaging is my absolute favorite part about the collection. It’s embossed with a bright and lovely floral pattern on black making it stand out loud and proud.
For my #EOTD, I used Caramelo all over the eyelid, Malbec and Cafecito in the crease, and Estrella also patted into the center of the lid and inner corner. First picture shows Secreto on the lips and the second shows Besame.
The lip bundle sold me on this collection. The colors are definitely my style, and I can’t resist burnt siennas/oranges, so of course, here we are. The lip bundle, as I mentioned previously, contains 2 Ultra Satin Lips with 3 Ultra Matte Lips. I loved all the colors and their formulas, and have already worn a couple of them more than twice already! That shows how amazing the colors and their wear is, not to mention, the comfort. Again, if you purchase the lip bundle, the packaging is just gorgeous. Packaging is the other reason I was sold.
Mija, Ultra Satin Lip, is definitely one that will get a lot of use from me because it’s the perfect neutral lip for my medium tan skin tone.
Flor, the reason I even sprung for this bundle, is a burnt Sienna Ultra Matte Lip. ColourPop, if you’re listening, please make this shade an Ultra Satin Lip, as well. Please, please, please!
Besame, is a lovely cherry red Ultra Matte Lip, and if you’re a fan of red lips, this one needs to come home to you. It’s beautifully classic!
Chola, deep red brown Ultra Satin Lip, is totally a vampy dream come true! I was super thrilled it was in the satin formula because it’s simply stunning! Totally my cup of tea.
If you LOVE Flor, then you’ll also need her little sis, Secreto, a dusty terra-cotta Ultra Matte Lip.
This collection really got me excited. I’m a huge fan of these lipstick colors. I can never get enough of the Ultra Satin Lips, but I’m also a HUGE fan of the Ultra Mattes, so I was excited about all 5 of them! I did not grab the Luster Dust Loose Highlighters in Chisme and Princesa, and there are no current plans to, as I would have preferred Super Shock Cheeks, to be honest, or even a face palette. But, I do love this collection for its versatility and colors! I do hope that teals will be seen less in the year 2019, as each palette has one or two of those already.
What do you think? What was your favorite piece? Which collection did you absolutely adore in 2018.
I wish you and yours a very Happy New Year 2019!
Purchased by me. All opinions are honest and my own.
