When it comes to shopping foundation, there’s nothing more frustrating because it’s hard to find the correct match. We’re all made up of different skintones, undertones, blemishes or not, freckles or not, etc. But, it doesn’t have to be a chore to shop for the base of all your makeup! I decided to use Temptalia’s Foundation Matrix PLUS Findation.com and choose ONE foundation to put to the test with a popular new foundation. Using my current matches in MAC Cosmetics NC35, tarte Tan Honey, and Jouer Cosmetics Matte Tint in Hazel, I think I did it. Are you ready to see which one matched me?

 

They come in a pump bottle, which I appreciate because I liked to put it on the back of my hand to apply. It matched me to T20, which is the same as Soft Honey in the original Covergirl TruBlend formula. I decided to swatch both for you on my face and on my arm, so you can get an idea of what its like. 

Before Foundation:

After the foundation:

I love how this foundation felt on my skin. It felt really natural and lightweight and gave my skin the perfect smoothness and blur (almost like a filter!). If you check on my Instagram, I posted a photo, which looks filtered! That’s how amazing this foundation works! It faded pretty gracefully, except for around the mouth, which was totally expected. Here’s a close look so you can see the before and after TOGETHER.
