Beauty Bakerie Gingersnap Lip Whip Swatches & Review

Gingersnaps. They transport me to my childhood immediately. How? Well, my parents (and about 99.9% of the Indian and Indian-American population) LOVES the use of ginger in pretty much everything, especially our world-renowned chai. My parents used to take it one step further and include gingersnap cookies with their chai. This post is NOT about food, but Beauty Bakerie is an adorable brand that names their delightful liquid lipsticks after sweets and treats. Since I’m all about burnt oranges, oranges, and orange-toned shades, Beauty Bakerie Lip Whip in Gingersnap really stood out to me. This is the only one that I picked up, but I do have my eye on a few of the metallic shades.

The packaging has a Neapolitan ice cream feel to it, and I absolutely adore it. Wait until you see what the actual liquid lipstick itself. TOO PRECIOUS!

The color is as you would expect of something named Gingersnap. It’s a mid-tone orange-toned brown. Absolutely gorgeous shade, and I think it would be flattering for just about any skintones. Darker skintones could wear this as THE perfect neutral shade.

The texture of the Beauty Bakerie Lip Whip is a mousse, much like the name lip whip suggests. It goes on smoothly and evenly, but exfoliating and moisturizing of the lips is a definite need. My lips have been chapped for awhile now, and I have been using lip masks and applying lip balm overnight and prior to application, so this may not be the smoothest lip swatch. The comfort-level of the Beauty Bakerie Lip Whip is at the utmost highest comfort. You feel as if nothing is sitting upon your lips, and that’s exactly how I like it. It doesn’t dry your lips further and the lasting quality is amazing, as well. The next thing I want to try are the lip scrubs and the metallic liquid lipsticks. They look delectable! They also have loose highlighters, setting powders, and more!

Have you tried this brand? If so, what did you think?
