ColourPop x Hello Kitty Konnichiwa, Date Mate, and Let’s Play Lippie Stix Swatches and Review

Hello Kitty. Definitely a huge part of pop culture, and I remember a lot of Hello Kitty items throughout the ’80s. Well, she’s back and cute as can be! ColourPop collaborated with Sanrio to create this adorable collection made up of many wearable items, which will be shown to you by me in pieces. It just makes it easier to showcase certain items at a time, so you don’t have to keep scrolling and having a hard time putting together your very own shopping list!

In this post, we will be discussing:

  • ColourPop Konnichiwa (Creme) Lippie Stix
  • ColourPop Date Mate (Matte X) Lippie Stix
  • ColourPop Let’s Play (Satin Luxe) Lippie Stix

L-R: Date Mate, Konnichiwa, and Let’s Play

Starting with Konnichiwa, this creme is comfortable and has a little bit of gloss. It’s a terrific neutral shade that is a must have in any makeup lovers’ collection!

Date Mate in Matte X (my favorite formula of the Lippie Stix) is ridiculously gorgeous and pigmented. One swipe is all it took to get the color you see right here. This weightless formula floats on your lips and wears well! How could this lipstick NOT get a 2nd date?!

Let’s Play is a satin luxe and is a gorgeous formula. I think this is the first time I’ve tried this formula, and it was extremely comfortable, sparkly, and just lovely overall! I love the metallic finish, as I love metallic lipsticks, and this one is a keeper!

Which one is calling YOUR name? Stay tuned for more pieces from the ColourPop x Hello Kitty collection!
