Help your Toddler Snack Right with Gerber® Lil’ Beanies

When my son started on solid foods, I encouraged him to help himself to the snacks I placed on his high chair tray. At first, he would play with them and shift them around, but he finally realized, “Hey, Mommy’s giving me some yummy snacks!” Although he is 4 years old, I still like to pick up Gerber®  Lil’ Beanies from Kroger, as they are made with 2 grams of protein (9% Daily Value) and 1 gram of fiber per serving. And, since these snacks are baked and made with naturally flavored ingredients like navy beans (that’s what gives them their mild flavor), they are great, mess-free treat for your little ones (and even yourself)!

Typically, when we go to the grocery store, my son sprints toward the snacks and sweets aisle. But, he is easily steered toward the baby aisle where the Gerber® Lil’ Beanies can be found. He loves them because they are easy to hold and don’t create crumbs and are mighty delicious! I’ll even admit that I’ve found them to be addictive myself.

When we arrive home, my son unloads the groceries to get to snacking quicker. I can’t complain because this is a huge help for me AND I know that he is snacking healthy!

The Gerber® Lil’ Beanies come in two scrumptious flavors – Original & White Cheddar & Broccoli.

The Original flavor is for those children that are just starting out on solids and those who prefer a simple snack rather than one that is “spiced” up.

White Cheddar & Broccoli has a zest to it, and I find it to be the popular one in our household.

Try out these wonderful snacks for yourself and you’ll see that it’s a great snack for the entire family! You can find them at your Kroger store. For more information on each flavor, check out the links below!
