Inglot Freedom System Swatches and Review

Lipsticks are a huge obsession for me. I’ve been SO distracted by liquid lipsticks that I’ve forgotten about my bullet lipsticks, so when I saw these, I was a little excited to get my feet BACK into lipsticks OTHER THAN liquid lipsticks. What’s exciting about the Inglot Freedom System is that YOU put whatever you want in your palette rather than having the palette with one color you love and the rest not. Here, you get to put EVERYTHING you love in one place. Also, as you’ve guessed, this is a lipstick PALETTE meaning you do have to use a lip brush.

I received a 2 and 3 palette to share with you all. So let’s get right to it!

The Freedom System comes in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20, 40 and then 1, 2, and 3 with mirror, and so on. Also the lids you see are magnetic and the lipstick pans can be pulled out. The color numbers are at the bottom of the pans.

Applying the lipsticks is easy, and I used a brush that was meant for eyeshadows but it applied the lipstick PERFECTLY. Just use a synthetic shader brush or lip brush. The brush I used picked up product and made it really easy to pat on. This is another tip I would give when applying lipstick with a brush. Try not to swipe the product on with the brush but rather pat it on. You can increase intensity of the lipstick by adding layers by patting on.

And, let’s get to the important part! Swatches!

L-R: #28, #01

Shade #28 is a beautiful cherry red that is super glossy and has a jelly look to it. It’s super comfortable too!

I fell in love with #01 at first sight. This shade is a great one for the Spring and Summer.

L-R: #01, #28

And, moving on to the 3 Freedom System Palette:

L-R: #99, #69, #98

#98 is a baby pink that is VERY Barbie. I don’t like this shade for myself, but it’s a lovely shade!

#69 is a deep pink that I really love! This is the kind of pink I usually wear.

#99 is a beautiful purple that makes me thrilled because I’m obsessed with purple lipstick!

L-R: #98, #69, #99

As expected, these glossy lipsticks have the life of a glossy lipstick. If you don’t eat or drink, you can expect the last of 3 – 4 hours, but when eating and drinking, it will be far less. The colors are quite pigmented for being pan lipsticks, which is fantastic for makeup artists or those who prefer to control their lipstick intensity. The color choices are also excellent, and I’m looking into some nice mauves, marsala and deeper shades. I think for my purposes – I would also need a bigger palette, and I was thrilled to see that they do in fact sell those. I would probably also decide to get one with a mirror.

What do you think about these lipsticks? Do you prefer bullet, liquid lipsticks, or from the pan with a brush?
