When it comes to skincare, it’s important to exfoliate, so you rid your face of dead skin cells and keep your skin refreshed and renewed. When I was given the opportunity to try the Michael Todd Soniclear Petite Antimicrobial Sonic Skin Cleansing Brush, I was really excited because winter is the BEST time for me to test these devices since I have combination skin – oily in the t-zones and dry everywhere else. So, let’s discuss the features and then we can talk about my experience.
The key features are:
Waterproof – The Soniclear Petite is waterproof (not merely water resistant) for use in the bath or shower.
Three Speed Options – Three cleansing speeds enable you to customize your sonic cleansing experience to your specific skin type and skin concerns.
Cleansing Timer – For even and thorough cleansing, the Soniclear Petite features a built in automatic timer that beeps every 20 seconds to indicate it is time to move to another cleansing area.
Rechargeable – The Soniclear Petite is rechargeable with the included USB Induction Charger and can provide up to 35 minutes of continuous use on a single charge.
And, the Soniclear package includes:
- Soniclear Petite Waterproof Rechargeable Sonic Control Handle
- Charging Cradle
- USB Inductive Charger, which magnetically attaches to the Handle.
- Antimicrobial Face Brush Attachment’
Now, on to my experience. I found that the bristles of the Soniclear Petite were indeed soft, but for me, it still felt a little rough on the skin. I felt that I ended up breaking out a bit because of the way the bristles rubbed on my face, but it definitely exfoliated and made my skin feel soft. So, it will definitely take a little extra time with it to see how I feel about it.
It fits in the palm of your hand and is a little bulky yet light. It is extremely easy to maneuver and quite user-friendly. I think this is even a gadget that someone technology “unsavvy” can use. So, if you’re looking for a last-minute (or even a late one) Christmas present or anything else.
What do you think about the Soniclear, if you own one?
