Borghese is a brand that I’d heard of but never tried before. I was really excited when a package from them arrived at my doorstep unannounced – always the best kinds of packages! Let’s move along, so I can show you!
Inside the package from Borghese included:
– Borghese Caffe Perfetta Radiante Perfecting Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 20
– Borghese Naturale Perfetta Radiante Perfecting Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 20
– Borghese Edge Eclissare ColorStruck Lipstick
– Borghese Swoon Eclissare ColorStruck Lipstick
– Borghese Stunner Eclissare ColorRise Blush
The packaging is so chic! I had to share what the boxes looked like because I love when hard work goes into the packaging – it just shows how much love when into it!
Once opened, I was even more in awe of the packaging! So gorgeous, especially the ombre of the lipsticks!
Starting off with the Borghese Perfetta Radiante Perfecting Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 20 foundation, I received two shades in Naturale (as shown on left above) and Caffe (as shown on right above).

I chose to use Caffe on my face as a foundation, and I realized it was a tad dark, so mixing it with Naturale is ideal for my skintone, but in the pictures of my full face, you will see Caffe as the foundation and Naturale as a highlighter.
The Borghese Eclissare ColorStruck Lipsticks that were sent to me were in the shades Edge and Swoon.
With deliciously gorgeous packaging, these lipsticks are somewhat heavy yet sturdy and the lids close magnetically keeping them safe when toting them in your bag.
Starting with the shade Edge, a soft medium brown, a shade I have been lusting over lately, glided on with no tugging and left a soft, glossy finish meant to make the lips appear fuller, which they did, indeed.
The next shade, Swoon, attracted my attention at first sight because of all the gorgeous glitter. It did, in fact, apply like butter unlike a gritty lipstick, so that was definitely a plus! The glitter is large, and after awhile does bleed out into the skin, especially when removing, so do beware of that if you are not a fan of this. It reminds me of a more subdued version of MAC Thrills lipstick.

Last but certainly not least is the gorgeous Borghese Eclissare ColorRise Blush in Stunner. And, a stunner it sure is! The burnt rose blush itself has a little bit of gold shimmer, but when applied, it instead creates a rose gold illusion and dimension rather than pores. I have certainly been infatuated with this blush and can’t seem to put it down. (All full faces above show the blush used.)
After trying this brand for the first time, I was definitely impressed. Although the range is still small, the products are rich and versatile. I am definitely using the Borghese Perfetta Radiante Perfecting Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 20 during the Winter as it has a more luminous result, and my skin is ridiculously oily in the Summer and dry in the Winter. My skin will adore this during that time. The Borghese Eclissare ColorStruck Lipsticks are beautiful, glossy but my heart does belong more to the matte finish, but I definitely will reach for these when my lips want color but more moisture and comfort. The Borghese Eclissare ColorRise Blush is definitely a favorite because the color is natural yet fun! I have been reaching for it every time I do my makeup because it just adds the perfect amount of flush without looking completely flashy!
What do you think about these? Any of them being added to your wishlist?
