Vita Liberata Trystal™ Self Tanning Bronzing Minerals Review

As a person with medium, olive skintone, you would think I don’t need a tan BUT I do on my legs, especially. They are about five shades lighter than the rest of me, and this is actually hereditary as my maternal grandmother also has fair legs like me. Indian culture treasures fair skin, as we all usually do find the grass is greener on the other side, but even then, as I’ve been born and raised in America, I’ve always found that I do like to have an even skintone. I usually use self tanner on my legs, especially for those times I want to wear a sundress, etc. When given the opportunity to try the Vita Liberata Trystal Self Tanning Bronzer, I was intrigued, as it is one of the world’s first self-tanning bronzers.

The Vita Liberata Trystal Self Tanning Bronzing Minerals is a mineral bronzing powder and also includes a kabuki brush. The kabuki brush is plush, soft, and definitely luxurious.PressSampleSticker

If you purchase the bronzer and the mini kabuki brush package, the cost is $55. If the bronzer is purchased individually, you pay $45. This is a Sephora Exclusive, but can also be purchased on the

The bronzer comes in two shades – Light & Medium. I received Medium.

Trystal3™ Technology combines an instant pure mineral bronze colour with long lasting self tan results for a beautiful, natural – looking medium tan that lasts for days. The innovative formula is a world – first self tanning bronzer. Oil – free with micronised crystals for sheer, lightweight bronzing coverage and added DHA for a lasting tan result, this unique bronzing powder will leave you with soft, smooth, healthy looking skin.

Includes luxury Kabuki brush worth $55.

Apply over moisturiser or liquid foundation. Using a kabuki brush, blend the mineral powder onto the face, neck and décolleté in circular movements. Use more around the cheekbones to achieve a contouring effect. The developed tan will last up to 5 days.

The bronzer is a loose mineral bronzing powder that has a sifter, which allows you to get the right amount of product. The powder is light, which I can appreciate since it gives you an even finish. Once applied, my skin felt silky and I noticed the tan creep up after a couple of hours, upon which you see a slightly darker skintone and no orange tint.

I liked the results as it did not look unnatural. I also love the fact that the results are said to last 5 days! This is fantastic as I don’t like to bronze my legs every single day, and this makes it worthwhile to use. And, since this makes the skin soft, I also love that fact, too.

Here were my results SIDE-BY-SIDE:
