Zoya Holiday 2014 collection is called the Zoya Wishes Collection, and there are 2 metallic frosts, 1 creme, and 3 PixieDusts. Let’s jump right into it. Everything is 3 coats.
Starting with the two metallic frosts.
Prim, “described as a velvet blue metallic with a full coverage, high-density pigment and buttery smooth application”. I adore periwinkle shades, and that is how I would describe this shade. I was impressed that it did not show brushstrokes as much as I expected, which is a pleasant surprise since this is a gorgeous shade.
Haven is described as, “true holiday plum liquid metal with a thin vein of orchid to ensure brilliance” and this beauty is definitely lit from within. I was just entranced by this shade!
Willa, a black creme, is described as, “full-coverage, densely pigmented onyx black cream. Originally released as ‘Black Swan’ during Zang Toi’s NYFW SS15 show. A timeless, classic black for all occasions!” This black is quite shiny and reminds me of patent leather shoes. Gorgeous!
Imogen, “a black crystal Magical PixieDust with holographic hex glitter, the perfect complement to a brighter shade or an accent for nail art”. This is a great twist on black nail polish because it would look amazing with a little black dress.
Nori, “sapphire blue Magical PixieDust with holographic hex glitter, perfect for any holiday festivity!” reminds me of my gorgeous birthstone, so I have a soft spot for it.
Thea, “a deep amethyst Magical PixieDust with an orchid flash, packed full of party-ready holographic hex glitter” is another super beautiful shade. This is definitely a great representative of the radiant orchid: Pantone color of the year!
Overall, I really enjoyed this collection for being non-traditional. The polishes are gorgeous and definitely needed in a nail polish collection because they are timeless shades.
