I had no such luck with picking up the MAC Rocky Horror Picture Show lipsticks (I kinda sorta changed my mind thanks to peer pressure, and what stinks is that I saw them available and still passed. Maybe it’s a good thing I passed. I don’t really need it, do I?!). Anyway, I went to the store to find it, and they didn’t have it, so I went to Ulta to check out their 40% off sale, and I came out with the Revlon Ultimate Suede Lipstick from their NEW Boho Chic Collection.
It wasn’t as deep of a magenta as I wished. Also, it took a LONG time to set to a matte finish. The lipstick does seem to stay put through food and drinks, so that’s a great thing. I think it looks a lot like MAC Pink Poodle in the lip swatch, but it is a matte shimmer, while Pink Poodle was a glaze finish.
Here is MAC Pink Poodle to kind of get an idea:
And, here is Wardrobe again in a complete face look:
Yeah, pretty much identical. If you have one, you definitely don’t need the other. MAC’s Glaze finish does not tend to last through food and drinks, however, so if you’re looking for a soft fuchsia/magenta, then Revlon Wardrobe would be the one!
