If you’re in need of Fall lipstick colors or just perfect vamp colors, you’re in the right place. Guess what? Ulta is also having a 40% off sale on NYX, Revlon, and Physician’s Formula, as well, so you can get these pretties for a portion of the price!

Application is 2 layers of lip cream shown in all swatches.

I picked out Prague, Copenhagen and Transylvania in the soft matte lip cream formula.

L-R: Prague, Copenhagen, and Transylvania

Prague is a sweet berry magenta. It goes on flawlessly and is such a bright, beautiful color that will work all year long!

Copenhagen is a dreamy deep burgundy that will stun. Paired with rose gold eyes and a deep blush, it sure was THE perfect Fall lippy! It did clump up in areas, as you can see below:

Transylvania definitely gives you the notion of “bloodthirsty beings of the night”. This deep purple is sexy, chic and absolutely mysterious! This also had the tendency to clump up in areas. My lips were exfoliated so I’m not sure why this “phenomenon” happened.

The formula is a lot thicker than the Lime Crime Velvetines and have a delicate, vanilla cupcake scent. These go on really smoothly and apply well with the applicator provided and dry off to a nice matte finish.

The lip creams don’t tend to last very long, though. They don’t “attach” to the lip like the Velvetines. Stain was also very minute.

Do I recommend these? Yes and no. If you are partial to lip creams that become matte, then by all means, add them to your collection. If you like the color, these are quite dupeable, and you can find these shades elsewhere. If you are looking for lasting color, then there are a lot of matte liquid lipsticks out there!
