Blue has become an important staple in makeup because it is such a bright and stand out color. So, when Milani put out this LIMITED EDITION collection, I knew I would need everything from this collection (the nail polish will have its own review soon!).
The Bella Blue Collection includes:
– Limited Edition Lash Art Colored Mascaras in Bella Blue, Azure, and Mediterranean Blue
– Limited Edition Lip Art Saturated Lip Color in Bella Blue
– Limited Edition Gold Label Nail Lacquer in Bella Blue
(Top to Bottom: Mediterranean Blue, Azure, and Bella Blue)
When I saw all this blue, I was super inspired by the blue and thought of our upcoming patriotic Holiday, 4th of July, our country’s birthday! How could I not incorporate red and white?
The mascara has a wand that helps apply the color as evenly as possible on the eyelashes. For my dark eyelashes, I was really impressed with the color deposition.
And, here’s how it applied:
Left eye: Bella Blue on the upper lashes and Mediterranean Blue on the lower lashes
Right eye: Azure on the upper lashes and Mediterranean Blue on the lower lashes
Eyeshadow used:
– Jordana Eternal White Eyeshadow Pencil on lid as base (inner corner)
– Maybelline Color Tattoos in Pomegranate Punk (outer corners and blended in crease) and Tenacious Teal (patted in center and under waterline)
Left eye: Bella Blue on the upper lashes and Mediterranean Blue on the lower lashes
Right eye: Azure on the upper lashes and Mediterranean Blue on the lower lashes

And, finally let’s discuss the lipstick. It was actually much sheerer than I expected. I was hoping for an opaque blue with shimmer. Nevertheless, it was stunning like a sapphire and it did not stain as I thought, either.
And, then I thought I’d switch out the blue lipstick for those who would rather stick with a red lipstick. I chose MAC Queen’s Sin, a gorgeous frosted red that looks more like a foil red. It’s such a delicious red that I wish I could see it made permanent – this shade is such a firecracker!!
What do you think? Will your makeup for the 4th of July incorporate any of the Bella Blues?
