Too Faced Melted Lipsticks in Nude, Peony, and Violet Photos, Swatches, and Review

We all know how much I love lipsticks, and we also know how much I adore liquid lipsticks! When I saw Too Faced come out with these, I quickly added them to my wishlist. I finally grabbed three, and I want the NEWEST ones oh-so-bad, especially Berry and Fig!Β Let’s take a look at these amazingly gorgeous colors!!

They have a sponge applicator, which is extremely comfortable to use and applies beautifully giving your lips a wonderful hug.

(L-R: Peony, Violet, and Nude)

I am going to start off with Too Faced Melted Nude because it really tickled my fancy! I am in adoration of this orange-hued nude lipstick! It is so extremely flattering and I absolutely love the satin finish. Temptalia’sΒ Dupe Guide also mentions that this is very, very similar to MAC Cozy Up, so if you missed out on it (or need a back up), this is a great alternative!

Peony, a bubblegum light pink, is a shade I wear when I’m feeling super girly! I love the satin finish of this beautiful pink! Perfect shade of light pink for the Spring and/or Summer! These shades tend to make me tanner than I am so they are fun to wear to a Pool Party or to the Beach! πŸ˜‰

And, for the lovelies that like to step outside the crayon box or just like purple, Violet is the perfect shade! This leans neon on me (just like MACΒ Dodgy Girl). I’ll even include the swatch and face of Dodgy Girl, so you can see it next to each other! Dodgy Girl is just a little whiter/lighter than Violet, which leans a little more blue-toned pink.

I find Violet a LOT more flattering with my skintone (Again, for reference I’m a MAC NC35 skintone – not really sure what I am in the Summer, but I’m pretty sure I don’t go much higher!). Here’s the faces of Dodgy Girl and Violet.

I must say that I absolutely adore the look and finish of the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. Not sure if I am delusional from swatching lipsticks, but they smelled like Popsicle sticks to me! I actually really enjoy that scent!! I used the applicator to apply, but next time, I plan to use a disposable lip wand because I want to make sure it is a little more even. I wanted to show it applied with the applicator for accuracy of review and swatches. The lipstick is definitely not drying and is extremely comfortable to wear. I also noticed a little staining after wear.

My Too Faced Melted Lipstick wishlist is just too long. I think I’ll eventually need to own them all!

Do you own any Melted Lipsticks?

Which colors are you crushing on?
