Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths Photos/Review

You may remember me telling you that my HOLY GRAIL lotion/hand cream is Cetaphil. I have extremely sensitive skin and during the Winter, my skin gets drier than dry, and the only thing that keeps me moisturized is Cetaphil. So, when I found out that Cetaphil had created cleansing cloths/makeup remover wipes, I was on the hunt. I finally came across them at my local Walgreens and, of course, I picked them up!

I usually use the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes, and as compared with the unscented Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths, I will have to say I still prefer the Neutrogena ones. Why? Well, the Neutrogena ones do the job with 1 wipe. My experience with the Cetaphil wipes was that it wouldn’t remove the Maybelline Color Tattoos (which is a gel eyeshadow)  and it took me 3 wipes to finally get it off. Neutrogena, on the other hand, got it off in one wipe. I do prefer the “after” feel of the Cetaphil wipes – my skin feels hydrated and doesn’t have that greasy feeling that you immediately want to wash off like the Neutrogena wipes leave me with. I also found that the Cetaphil ones were pricier than the Neutrogena ones, so that kind of makes my decision all the more easier.

These are great for travel because you don’t have to wash your face afterwards, and if your skin is sensitive or you wear minimal makeup, this should be enough to do the job.

All in all, it depends on your preference. I will keep these in my purse for “overnight stays” and times I cannot wash my face as easily!
