Ah, springtime is upon us! Yesterday, the weather was SO amazing, we spent about an hour just frolicking in the breeze (I’m so serious, too!) and today, it was all dreary and rain. Yuck. I mean, seriously, make up your mind, Mother Nature! And, now that springtime is coming, we’re looking forward to adding some color to our life, aren’t we? I highly recommend these deliciously delightful pastels and metallic foils! Yum. Shall we take a looksee?
Let’s start off with Brooklyn, an interesting soft gold foil/frost. I’m not really a fan of this finish only because I can see brushstrokes, BUT it’s a sweet gold for the springtime! Here it is at 3 coats.
And, here it is with Monet over it. Monet is an adorable glitter topper that changes depending on what the base color is. I found it to be thick, but the dabbing method works wonderfully!
Zoya Cole is a deliciously soft peach. As pastels are, it was streaky but fixes itself up upon a 2nd coat.
And, with Monet.
Dot is a delightful baby pink. The first coat was streaky, of course, and expected! The 2nd coat made it look absolutely doll-like! I love this shade for a more demure and soft look for the Spring!
And, with Monet.
Dillon is a mermaid-like amazing deep mint! Wowsers, this is just gorgeous!! This is 2 coats.
And, wait ’til you see it with Monet over it… Ahh!
As a purple fiend, I knew I was going to fall in love with Hudson, but this hard? No, I didn’t realize I would be madly, deeply in love! Here it is at 2 coats, and oh yes, I did eat jelly beans after photographing this angel!
Blue lovers unite! Rebel is just stunning!! Doesn’t this make you want to jump into a swimming pool!? In time, my loves, and then Summer will be here, but for now, enjoy these Spring beauties and Spring!! Here it is at 2 coats.
How gorgeous are these?!
