I love Valentine’s Day, even with all of its commercial-ness. I guess it’s seeing all the reds, pinks and GLITTER. And, seeing all the lovebirds out there! So, I decided to share a look that’d be perfect for Love Day! 😉

I used a bunch of different gold, silver, and bronze eyeshadows (NYX Je Ne Sais Quoi Palette from Love in Paris) to create my smokey/metallic eye. I wanted this look to be all the drama with a sweet/romantic touch.

I ended up using NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Absolute Red because it’s JUST that – absolute red. It’s supposed to be a dupe for Chanel Dragon (which is amazing and I want!) but unfortunately since it’s discontinued, you can find it overpriced or not at all. Absolute Red does not have a pleasant taste (not that ANY have pleasant tastes, as a matter of fact) to it at all – very plastic. Also, this color is NOT easy to remove – if it smears, it’s going to stain! I would definitely recommend using a clear lip liner and dab off with a napkin. Oh, by the way, this is not a matte cream.

Okay, so first, let me show you various pictures of my eye makeup! I really liked this and am definitely going to be recreating this for Valentine’s Day!

And, the entire look?

I am lately IN LOVE with metallics, especially rose gold, but I wanted to add some shimmer to my lips, so I went with Pink Oasis from my Starlooks Lauren Clark box from last February. Kind of added it in places for a little dimension and again, drama.

I really loved the overall turnout of this look. And, will definitely be recreating this face for Valentine’s Day!!
