OPI Push & Shove Duet Pack Swatches/Review

Chrome nails have always been something I really enjoyed, but there was a desire in me for some mirror nails and this is about as close as you can get! And, I love me some No Doubt and Gwen Stefani! And, this sh*t is BANANAS! B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Let’s take a look!

The Push & Shove Duet Pack comes with a mini Lay Down that Base, which is supposed to keep the chrome looking smooth. So far, I’ve been wearing it for 3 hours and no sign of wear, but I have heard that it’s a one night only thing, which is A-OK with me since I usually tend to wear a color a day.

The Lay Down that Base was really nice and dried quickly. I’m not sure if there’s a full-size, so let me know in the comments if there is, and I think it may just be my NEW Holy Grail base coat! I love it. Take a look at it on my bare nails:

Now, for Push & Shove – you really don’t have to do any pushing & shoving to get this looking good, but try to use thin coats. I did 2 thin coats and waited for the Lay Down that Base to dry COMPLETELY (as informed) to get the liquid metal look. I love this!

I can’t stop staring at my nails – this is amazing!

I would recommend buffing your nails if you have noticeable ridges and definitely use the base coat and work slowly – don’t rush it otherwise you’ll be left with some gunky chrome.

What do you think? Will you be picking this up? I love Gwen Stefani, so I’m loving this collection!!
