Wet n Wild Solders in Charms LIMITED EDITION Trios Photos/Swatches/Review

When it comes to eyeshadows, I’m definitely a fan of palettes, so of course when Wet n Wild told me they were sending me the Soldiers in Charms Trios (they are LIMITED EDITION!), I was psyched! What’s better is these are “marked” Eyelid, Crease, and Browbone so that you can get the look you are aiming for. Obviously, you don’t have to follow the “markings” and can be as creative as you want (my face looks are as per “markings”) Are you ready to see these amazing trios?

Zero Dark Flirty is a trio of beautiful purples. I didn’t face much fall out with these like I did with the Wet N Wild Pop Art ColorIcon Eyeshadows. Each of the packages (I’ll just show you this one as not to clog this post with too many photos; the background is camo print in similar colors of the eyeshadows – this one is purple like the palette) come with a mascara (mascara is worn in each of my face looks). The crease and browbone shades were a little difficult to work with, but with primer (which I didn’t use, so that the true colors would show!) and perhaps even wet. I also didn’t use the brushes that they came with – I used my own eyeshadow brushes.

Soldiers in Charms (the namesake of the collection) is a gorgeous trio with beautiful greens and olives. These colors deposited really well! I was really impressed with this palette. I have a similar green Wet N Wild palette, and it is MY FAVORITE.

I Don’t Do Camoflague is a trio of remarkable blues! Again, the crease ( a glittery shade) and browbone (periwinkle) were difficult to work with.

Enlisting for Beauty is the perfect neutral palette. I loved this one as all the shades went on flawlessly. Another favorite palette for me!

As for the mascara, it was a great one. It applied well on the eyes and didn’t create any clumps. Here’s a close up of my eye with it on.

What do you think of these palettes? If I were to choose my favorites, they would definitely be the namesake, Soldiers in Charms and Enlisting in Beauty (which is going on my eyes quite often as it’s a great natural smokey look!) What about you? What palette will you be searching for?
