butter London not only makes a good nail polish, but now makeup, too. I was excited to try the crème blush in Abbey Rose, a Lippy Tinted Balm in Axis Kiss (you can also see my review on Black Cherry), Union Jack Black Wink Pencil (you can also see my review on Pink Pistol) and Brown Sugar Nail Lacquer.
This was my first time trying out the butter London blush, so let’s take a closer look:
Nice black glossy packaging. Looks chic.
The blush was fantastic! I used my crème blush brush to apply and it applied pigmented and like a dream. Definitely worth having in your blush collection – mine is pretty huge!
The Lippy Tinted Balm in Axis Kiss was amazing – pigmented, as well and moisturizing like a balm. butter London did a fab job on these!
One can never have enough black OR brown eyeliners! This one is a good black – and once it’s on, it’s on! No smudging at all – I love, love this eyeliner – it might replace my go-to because it’s really pigmented!
Here they are swatched on my arm. As you can see, I did try to budge that black eyeliner, but it was clinging on. The blush has not been blended here (you will see it blended on my cheeks in a second) and as you can see it has a LOT of pigmentation in one swipe! The Lippy Tinted Balm is also pretty pigmented, and makes for a perfect “My lips but better (and rosier)!”
Now, let’s move on to Brown Sugar, a STUNNING nail lacquer that is PERFECT for this time of year. It was such a Thanksgiving color and I wore it proudly and will probably wear it again during Christmas.
SO PRETTY! And, 3 coats in person seems adequate enough but in photos didn’t look like enough.
These would make AMAZING stocking stuffers, so if you know someone on your list that LOVES beauty stuff, then here are some great products that anybody would LOVE to receive. Follow the links below for more:
