On Saturday was the wedding event, and my outfit was neon orange and neon green. SO, my makeup and nails were based around that. How did I go about deciding? I incorporated a few palettes for my eyeshadows (click HERE to see a review of the palettes, Regular at the Factory + I’m Seeing Triples). I used butter London Silly Billy and Sephora by OPI It’s Real 18K Gold Top Coat to give it some shine.
Oh, you want to see my outfit?
And, my face. Let’s quickly discuss how I prepared to keep my face from melting and how I usually start my makeup.
Benefit Face Primer. Seriously, best.thing.ever. If you don’t have this, invest in one because this keeps your makeup on like nothing else. I literally went 8 hours with my eyeshadow intact and everything looking fresh!
Can we discuss the packaging?? I mean, HOW CUTE is it?! LOVE the polka dots and all. This applies like a glue stick and feels a bit sticky to touch, but not uncomfortable to wear at all. I loved the way it hugged my makeup til past midnight and I applied it around 1. I’m being honest.
Over the Benefit Face Primer, I wore Almay CC Cream (Cover & Conceal) which is my TO-GO and GO-TO makeup of choice. I’m not a big fan of foundation, and this is what I use! I think it is pretty full coverage and works really well.
On the first day, I only used NYX Cinnamon, a really pigmented red-orange blush. I’ll discuss the 2nd day later. 😉
And, Red Apple Lipstick Coral Crush and some Jordana Cosmetics’ Eye Products and NYX Love in Paris (Je Ne Sais Quoi white with gold shimmer eyeshadow as my eye base and highlighter) completed this look!
Day 2! I wore a navy blue and teal outfit, but I didn’t get a photo of it from any of our cameras, so sadly, I will have to show you that some other time.
Eyeshadows used were from the NYX Love in Paris Mon Cherie palette.
Lipstick is MAC Caliente. My eyes are also courtesy of Jordana Cosmetics.
Here’s a closeup of the eyes.
What do you think of all these looks?
If you choose to recreate any of these, please share them with me! <3
Purchased by me, except for Purely Pro Cosmetics, which was sent for review. I won the Benefit Primer (along with 2 other Benefit products) from Birchbox. All opinions are honest and my own.
