Karva Chauth is a holiday where wives fast (no food, no water until they see the moon) for their husbands’ long lives. Click on the link to read more. Red is a basic Karva Chauth color, so I wore an Indian outfit that my mother-in-law brought from India for me. It was the perfect Karva Chauth outfit.
I decided to pair the outfit with my MAC Riri Woo lipstick. Perfect red! Since I had not had water all day, I had to use chapstick underneath to keep it from looking too dry since it’s a retro matte finish. I used NYX Rouge Crème Blush in Red Cheeks.
I also used my favorite red eyeshadow, Wine, by Aboni Cosmetics and also a NYX eyeshadow palette, Je Ne Sais Quoi (not pictured – will update later with photo) – the white with gold shimmer and gold shadow.
And, this was the final look. I’m also wearing vermillion in my hair parting – this epitomizes a married woman.
And, a shot of my outfit, of course! 😉
