You may remember my Organix review, but if not, click on Organix to read more. This is now the ONLY shampoo/conditioner I use! I loved it so much after the review that I ended up trying the Brazilian Keratin Treatment (which smells like Coconut Cookies) and then switched over to the Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo/Conditioner, so it was no surprise I said, “yes!” when I got the chance to review the Intense Moisturizing Treatment (Hair Masque). So, you will also not be surprised when I tell you I finished the entire contents in 2 weeks. I wash my hair every other day.
Before I got my haircut on Monday, my hair was pretty long (I cut off 4 inches), and so it was easy to finish the product. The consistency of this treatment is a little like lotion. You are supposed to put it into your hair and comb it all the way through. I used a good dollop of it because I wanted to treat my scalp and split ends. It worked like a charm. The directions say to leave it on for 3 – 5 minutes, and so I did just that. They also recommend using the Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo/Conditioner (which luckily is what I had on hand). After 3 – 5 minutes, it hardens a bit, and then you use lukewarm water to wash it out and then proceed to wash it with shampoo/conditioner. Honestly, it felt absolutely luxurious when it was rinsing out – absolutely silky. And, after the shampoo/conditioner, it felt great – fresh and clean and fragrant. I could smell it even after the next day, but I like to wash my hair every other day, especially in the summer heat. So, I have finished the contents, and I do plan to purchase this because I love using hair masques, and this is also quite affordable – $7.99 at the least and available in most places – Ulta, drugstores and even some grocery stores.
