Purchased by me. Eyeshadow samples provided by Aboni Cosmetics.
I had to write this post up as soon as I got the mail because SPOILER ALERT – We definitely have a Heroine dupe – except for the fact that this one is NOT matte, but it’s full coverage!
Let’s start this post off with how I discovered Aboni Cosmetics! I have been following a lot of MUA (Makeup Artistes) via Instagram, and I found the sweet owner of this brand! I am always wary of Indie cosmetics, but she made me feel absolutely confident in my purchase! Great customer service and prompt replies!! She didn’t even really expect me to do a review, but I had to share this gorgeous lipstick and eyeshadows! Let’s get to it, shall we?
The packaging of the lipstick was adorable! It came in a black box, and it has the ingredients written on the side.
So, as soon as I saw this, I thought of Heroine. Actually, I wanted to purchase this a loooooong time ago, but I ended up buying 2 Heroines. I still wanted Heartbreaker, as I need ALL the purples, so I indulged myself! I’ll show you the look later – let me show you the adorable samples that came along with Heartbreaker.
As big as my fingertip, they hold enough eyeshadows to let you decide how much you like them! Perfect-sized samples and a complete surprise!
I did not expect samples at all! I received Wine (left) and Cloud Nine (right).
And, now for the look with all 3! I used Cloud Nine on my eyelids and lined my eyes with Wine. Beautiful!! And, of course Heartbreaker is on the lips.
And, of course, I know you’re all wondering – how does it compare to Heroine? Worry not, here’s my comparison for you all!
Heartbreaker is definitely more opaque (although it starts off sheer – it sure layers well!), creamy, and glossy than Heroine, but color-wise! Very similar. Heartbreaker MAY be just a tad more purple/violet than Heroine, as well. I definitely love this color and am looking forward to trying more from Aboni Cosmetics!
So, what do you think?
