For the Robot Collection, Rainbow Honey’s Chief Designer, Dee, took inspiration from anime, video games, super cheesy B films, and the work of Mary Winkler, illustrator, jewelry and textile designer. To bring the robots to life, Dee collaborated with illustrator Mary Winkler. “I doodled out several designs with my little robot friend before settling on the final piece, knowing it was just right for Rainbow Honey,” says Mary. Dee and the Rainbow Honey Team are thrilled with the outcome and excited to feature her work for this collection. “It’s got stars, hearts, and the world’s cutest little robot: Bitty Love Bot,” explains Dee. “I couldn’t love it more!”

As most of you know by now, I love me some metallic foils! And, these are just adorable!! Obviously, it suits the theme of robots because well, aren’t robots metallic?? These are beautiful and kind of remind me of the China Glaze Romantique Collection. Let’s get to it, shall we?

The adorable packaging, as usual!! I couldn’t get enough of it, and I had to take pictures of it before opening it!!

Okay, let’s get to the swatches!!

So, there are 6 colors in total. 5 metallic foils and 1 glitter topper, Yoshimi. I swatched them all separately and then with Yoshimi over it, so that you could get a good look! All of them required 2 – 3 coats and went on flawlessly (like butter, actually) and Yoshimi was only 1 coat over the foils.

Skyward Bot is a beautiful sky blue metallic foil.
