Since we’re beginning 2013, I decided to share with you every month, my Monthly Treasures. So, here we go! [edit: renamed to Taneja’s Treasures of the Month]
COLOR: EMERALD
We all know my favorite color is teal, but this month, I’m really into emeralds. It’s also the Pantone’s color of the year. What a stunning color!
Speaking of emeralds, here’s a few things that I am loving:
3. These Go to Eleven by Kelara
4. See my favorite jewelry towards the bottom! It’s emerald. 😉
5. Priti NYC Gloire de Marengo:
LIPSTICK: RIMMEL LONDON KATE MOSS COLLECTION #12
I absolutely love orange lipstick, and this one is my go-to lipstick.
ACCESSORIES: SALLY HANSEN HEADBAND
I was really astonished when one of my stocking stuffers was from Sally Hansen but not a nail care item, but pleasantly astonished, for sure. I just got side-swept bangs, and this keeps me from getting my long fringe in my eyes when I’m chasing my son or when I’m going to bed (I have to have my hair up and out of my face when I sleep), so this was amazing. Thanks, Mom!
Wearing both in the picture below:
TOP FAVORITE NAIL POLISH: GLITTER GAL BELGIAN CHOCOLATE
This month, I have been pretty obsessed with this beauty. Just look at it, and you’ll understand! You can also view the full review here (plus more pictures).
BODY WASH: BATH & BODY WORKS SIGNATURE LEMON VANILLA
Everytime, I use this, it smells absolutely delicious, and makes me crave lemon cakes and muffins.
HAND WASH: ANTIBACTERIAL DEEP-CLEANSING CANDY CANE BLISS
I love EVERYTHING peppermint, so it was no wonder I bought literally TONS of this hand wash during the Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual sale, and then some.
JEWELRY: JULEP LUCKY WISHBONE BRACELET – EMERALD
Over the Holidays, Julep had a sale of jewelry, polishes and spa goods. My first order consisted of jewelry and a scarf, while the 2nd order consisted of some suedes.
I have been wearing the Lucky Wishbone Bracelet in Emerald since I received it, and I am planning to wear it for awhile! I absolutely love it, and the cute golden wishbone charm with a tiny rhinestone at the top.
FOOD: INDIAN STREET FOOD
Although I was born and raised here in the U.S., I have always enjoyed my motherland’s food, especially snacks and street food, which can easily be prepared at home. My absolute favorite is Pani Puris, which is fried puffs filled with spiced water. It’s an acquired taste, but I’m addicted to it.
TV SHOWS: LITTLE EINSTEINS & THE BACHELOR
You’re thinking, “Huh? Those are 2 different spectrums!” Well, I have a 16 month old son who ADORES the show with 4 little cuties: Leo, Annie, June, and Quincy and their friend, Rocket, who go on adventures around the World with lots of art and music. It’s adorable and teaches a lot! And, it keeps him out of my hair for 30 minutes or more. 😉
The Bachelor is for Mommy. This is what keeps me laughing and crying, all at the same time. This extremely scripted show is fun for me to watch when I need a little break from all that is Little Einsteins. (And eye candy!)
So, there we have it. My January Treasures!
What are some of your must-haves this past month? Are any carrying on to the next?
