OPI Jewel of India Swatch/Review

MY FAVORITE OPI EVER. This is the first nail polish I completely finished. This is my 2nd one, and it’s discontinued, now.

I purchased this right after marriage, and I am absolutely in awe of this color. I have gotten MANY compliments on it, and it’s the one nail polish I go to when I can’t figure out what to put on. So, when we were going to go to India (Wedding Reception #2), I took this baby because I just couldn’t bear to leave this behind, and come on, the name says it all. When I went shopping for saris (EEP! FAVORITE!) with my MIL, I had visions of raspberry/magenta dancing in my head. I saw MILLIONS (literally!) of saris, and they opened them all up for me, and finally when they showed me one specific number, I was set. I look at my MIL and said, THIS IS IT! She was, like, are you sure? And, I said Yes. It goes with my OPI Jewel of India. This is it! She nodded and we put in the order. It’s my most favoritest (yes, I said FAVORITEST) sari EVER. (This is me at our Wedding Reception #2 in India. It was UBER FUN buying the costume jewelry for this, as well!)

And, now for the swatches! It’s unbelievably smooth, opaque in 2 coats, and I *LOVE* the pro-wide salon brush.

  1. That is such a pretty color, and it matches perfectly! It looks wonderful on you too!

    • Thank you! I didn’t even take the polish with me when I went shopping! I felt SO amazing when I put them together and they were a perfect fit – match made in Heaven!! It feels like just yesterday I had my wedding reception #2, but it’s actually almost 3 1/2 years ago (3 years this past November!)!
