During the month of December, there were SO many sales that I can’t even count them on one hand. There was one such sale where trios and sets of butter Londons were available for excellent prices! I scored one trio of polishes and one trio of Lippys, but there was one in the trio of polishes that I already had, and the same situation arose with Galactic Lacquer, so we arranged a swap and decided to add extras and goodies! SO.MUCH.FUN. I had lots of fun picking up random goodies and polishes for Galactic Lacquer.
So, here’s my haul from Galactic Lacquer minus a few extras (candies, stuffed bear for my son, etc.) + swatches!!!!
First up are the Milanis! They were all on my wishlist, and Galactic Lacquer sneaked a peek and surprised me with the prettiest of the bunch! 🙂
Lavender Fizz is a gorgeous lavender glitter mix that reminds me of grape soda, probably the reason it has that name! It’s bubbly and delicious! It took 2 coats to be opaque, which isn’t bad at all.
Pink Flare is an amazing light pink glitter with holographic sparkle thrown in. So pretty! It boasts to be a one coat glitter, but it needed 2 coats. Not bad, though!
Silver Dazzle was a pretty pewter grey glitter and took 2 coats, as well.
Gold Glitz is a gold and copper glitter blend that needed 2 coats, too.
I was really excited about these two from the recent Holiday Joy collection! Beautiful red and beautiful glitter mix.
Red Satin was really satin-like and such a gorgeous red! I’m sure I have this color in my collection, but who can have enough reds? Not this girl.
Pure Joy really gave me pure joy because it’s such a pretty glitter that would look amazing with a LBD (Little Black Dress). I layered this over Red Satin. As you can see 1 coat did quite a number, so this could very well be opaque by itself.
BUTTER LONDON – THE MAIN ATTRACTION!
This is what the whole swap was really initially for, but since it was around Christmas Time, we really made it more of a Christmas gift! Black Knight has been on my wishlist FOR.EV.ER. It’s just as gorgeous as I imagined, and it surprised me in a good way by being a 2 coater. It’s extremely thirsty for a top coat, however, so you will need 2 coats of top coat.
I also decided to matte it because it looked like it would be amazing matte, too. Was I wrong? No. It does look fab.
I love ALL of these! Which ones are your favorites?
A BIG THANK YOU to Galactic Lacquer!!
