Crest 3D White Whitestrips

I have something different for you today! I like to be able to smile without feeling uncomfortable, and I have always been curious about whitening strips! I had the opportunity to review the Crest 3D White Whitestrips courtesy of Influenster, so here goes!

3D.1

I didn’t use all 20 strips and I’ll get to that by the end of the post! The first day I used them, I expected sensitivity and pain, but I was one of the lucky users that did not have to go through all that. I had heard from others that they had to stop using them for awhile because of all this. I, honestly, didn’t go through all 20 because I’d rather put my effort into brushing my teeth (not that you stop brushing while you are using these!) You have to peel back the plastic and apply them gel-side down so they are touching your teeth. The only thing I could complain about was the chemical/plastic taste they gave in my mouth. That’s one of the reasons I could not do this anymore. Did I notice my teeth whiter after the 3 days? Yes and no. It’s really hard to tell, and even from pictures I took, I could really see no difference. I am going to spare you pictures of close-ups of my teeth! 😉

Would I do this again? I don’t think so. I couldn’t handle the taste in my mouth, most of all.

  1. I used the regular strength strips once when they came in a sample pack when I bought a new tube of the 3D tooth paste. I couldn’t leave them on for the entire time it says to cause they hurt my teeth so much. I opted to try the ‘Gentle’ version as I had a coupon and they were on sale. They really do work, and didn’t hurt my teeth! I personally couldn’t see a difference, but many people (who didn’t know I was using the strips) remarked that my teeth def looked whiter. I still have a bunch of strips left, and need to resume using them along with the toothpaste and mouthwash to get my teeth where I want them to be.
