butter London Holiday Collection 2012

Alright, ready for more Holiday polishes? I know I sure am. Red and green are quite the pair, but what I’ve noticed is there’s not ONLY red and green making a stance, so that’s quite refreshing, as well. I have for you 3 gorgeous polishes from butter London and they are scrum-diddly-umptious.

Let’s start off with Fairy Cake (or the cute Brit slang for cupcake), an AH-mazing “sugary” treat of silver holographic glitters, and it dries matte, so if you want that shine, add 2 coats of top coat. I kind of preferred it the way it was, and this was practically opaque in 2 coats. It really looks like fairy dust and sugar!

Next, we have Jack the Lad (or Brit slang for “bad boy”), which kind of gave me deja vu about Zoya Logan. I haven’t really compared the two, but I do plan to because they are pretty similar. It’s a gorgeous forest green with gold and turquoise flakies. I believe this is 2 coats, but really, it needed 3.

Scallywag (meaning “bad person” or “scoundrel”) is absolutely MY FAVORITE. It’s kind of similar to Fairy Cake in final texture, and almost glows. It’s absolutely beautiful is all I can say! This was opaque in 2 coats.
