Rainbow Polish Scarab Beetle

Rainbow Polish sent me Scarab Beetle to review, and I immediately thought about ancient history and all that we learned in World History class. I remember always looking forward to Egyptian ancient history, and I have always adored Egyptian ancient history – the pharaohs, pyramids, scarab beetles, cats, origin of makeup AND nail polish! So interesting!!

Scarab Beetles, according to “Beetles as Religious Symbols” by Yves Cambefort:

The scarab is generally associated with old Egypt which indeed made this beetle their most important religious symbol; however, scarabs and other beetles have been worshiped in various ways from Prehistory. This paper will show the Egyptians’ use of the scarab beetles as neither accidental or unique and only the most obvious of many sacred beetle examples throughout history.

I layered Rainbow Polish over Zoya Song, and I found them to be PERFECT together!! The formula was absolutely wonderful, and there was no fishing involved. Let’s take a look at the pictures!!

And, now for the close-up!!

You can find Rainbow Polish HERE on Etsy.
And, for swatches, previews, and all the FUN stuff, “like” them on Facebook!
