Karva Chauth Makeup Look: Youngblood On-the-Go Beauty Set + Urban Decay Vegan Pallette

| 7 Comments

So, I promised you a face look and I have it for you! I am afraid I cheated when it came to outfit because I just do not have the energy to get entirely decked out. I hope you understand!

{{Here’s my Karva Chauth 2010. Didn’t participate last year because my son was newly born.}}

You will have to “See More” to see the looks! πŸ™‚

I was really excited to try out the Youngblood On-the-Go Beauty Set, which contains (sample sizes):

  • Mineral Primer – Smooths the appearance of fine lines and pores, creating an even surface for foundation.
  • Eye Impact Quick Recovery Eye Cream – Instantly hydrates and de-puffs to reduce the signs of fatigue around the delicate eye area.
  • Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint – Leaves skin comfortably hydrated, provides sheer, even-toned coverage and shields skin from environmental damage.
  • Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint ILLUMINATING – Luminizes skin with a golden sheen.
  • Liquid Mineral Foundation – Hydrates skin with buildable coverage for a flawless, pore-free finish.
  • Mineral Illuminating Tint BODY – Moisturizes and enhances legs, arms, shoulders and decollete with a bronze glow and the light scent of Shea Butter and Coconut Oils.

On-the-Go Beauty SetΒ is available in Light, Medium, and Dark beginning November 1, 2012 at ybskin.com; New Beauty at Fred Segal in Santa Monica, California; Henri Bendel in New York; select spas and salons; and by calling (800) 216-6133.

All I can say is one word: AMAZING. I really LOVE Youngblood products for their mineral usage and lightness, and this is a great way to try Youngblood’s products. I got this set in medium, and it matched me to a tee, and with 3 color choices, I am usually terribly afraid of this, but with Youngblood, my mind is at ease that it will suit me and my sensitive skin. I absolutely adore this set because it made my skin look absolutely flawless and it was incredibly light at doing so! It even smelled a little like lemon pastries, but maybe that’s just my rumby tumbly speaking. πŸ˜‰

Let’s quickly touch on the eyeshadows I used. I used the Urban Decay Vegan Pallette and only used 3 colors: Minx on the eyelids, Urb on the eyelid crease and Half Baked on the eyebrow bone. I highlighted my eyes using this, as well.

Here’s a quick picture of the pallette:

Adorbs packaging!!!!

I’ll do a more thorough swatches/review another day!

And, now for my makeup look for the day!

* Youngblood On-the-Go Beauty Set provided for review. UD pallette was purchased by me. All opinions are honest and my own. *
