Not Too Polished Catherine Wheel, Violent Violet, and Pool

Another Indie for you today!! Aren’t you so excited? Today, I have for you 3 lovely colors by Not Too Polished, and they are:

From the LE Firecracker collection, Catherine Wheel, a delightful pink jelly filled with pink glitters and blue glitters all of varying shapes and sizes. I was obsessed with this one because it’s jelly and glitter – OF COURSE! And, better yet, it is opaque in TWO coats. Unbelievable. Unfortunately, it’s a LE (Limited Edition!), so if you see it GRAB IT!

Another LE from the Luau Collection is a FANTASTIC seafoam green color (which is so hot this summer!) with various bar glitters and different shapes and sizes of holo glitter. Unfortunately, my glitter was drowned at the bottom, but nothing a good shake and a few minutes upside down didn’t help! It’s pretty, if you ask me! So, go get it NOW! Also, this is a crelly (creme + jelly) and it needed quite a few coats – 5 coats. But, I was also trying to get the glitter to appear, so I think 3 coats would suffice if you let the bottle sit upside down for a bit. 🙂

Last but not definitely not least is Violent Violet (wow, I just get so tongue-twisted with that one!) from the Crayonbox Rainbow Collection and it’s a gorgeous violet jelly with different micro-glitters (mostly purples) in it, and I’ve got to say, I have NOTHING like it, and luckily for you it’s part of her permanent collection! This was 3 coats.

I definitely loved the variety of these, and I love the fact that they are awesome jellies with glitters, and they can either be layered over themselves, or over similar or like colors for different effects! So many choices!!

  1. My favorite is definitely Catherine Wheel. Pink and glitter!! Can’t go wrong there. I like the colors of the other two however I am not a fan of jellies and the thought of doing 5 layers scares me a little bit. Personally I would rather just layer glitter over a cream mint. But to each their own, correct?! 🙂

    • You’re right! I love jelly finishes! The mint one only required so many coats because I was trying to get the glitter to come out and play, otherwise it required the normal 2 coats! Definitely check her shop out, she has quite the variety! Thanks for reading! 🙂
