One (well, two) cosmetic(s) I could not live without besides nail polish is mascara and blush. One thing I look for in mascara is that it thickens my eyelashes and highlights my eyes. I do not really look for lengthening because they are already false-eyelash long (I get asked if I am wearing falsies ALL the time).
In blushes, I look for something that highlights my cheekbones and doesn’t look too bright and looks like pinched cheeks.
So, here are some before pictures (completely makeup-free):
When I applied the mascara, I was kind of surprised that it wasn’t thickening. It did show up, as you will see in the pictures I show you. The only thing I was happy about was the fact that it was easy to apply and remove, which is always good. This mascara didn’t really do what I like to see my eyelashes do after I apply mascara, but it is a good mascara for me to use for a subtle, natural look.
The baked blush and the “peek-a-boo” brush was fabulous. I really loved how it made my skin glow. It is going to be my go-to blush and this color will look great on EVERY skintone, which is a definite plus. It is not cakey and is very light on the skin, and I love that a lot!
