F4 Polish is an Indie polish that has truly become one of my faves. Bare with me as I spam you with 5 (YES, FIVE!!!!!) of their beauties.
Warning: Picture Heavy! (Note: I will not post my lone bottle shots because I want to get straight to the point with the swatches! Let me know if you would like to see them, and I will edit them into a slideshow or collage.)
I am going to start with Pink Penguin. As soon as I saw this I seriously was giddy. I *LOVE* matte glitters and finishes, and when I saw it I prayed (with my eyes shut tight) that the finish would be that of the bottle. It has mini black and white hexes and a few larger neon pink hexes. Boy, oh boy, was I a happy camper when I layered it over itself 3 times, and it was gorgeous. Since it is matte, you want to move fast since mattes dry fast. Also, BIG HINT: Do not keep the bottle open for long because mattes notoriously become thick and blobby. The formula, otherwise, was fantastic and so was the brush. This mani got me TONS of compliments! Now, check out a few of the amazing pictures of it.
Glamorous is indeed glamorous! It is blue and purple jam-packed glitter in a lovely sheer blue jelly base. Yum! It reminds me of Bubble Yum. Maybe, the packaging? Anyways, it is gorgeous. You could use 1 coat as a layer over a color or layer it over itself (as I did), and you’re left with a very pretty mani! It is also super easy to apply!
Pink Salmon is similar to Pink Penguin. It is mini pink, white, and red matte glitters that can be layered over itself to give the same effect as Pink Penguin, but the only difference I noticed was that Pink Salmon showed off naked nail. It is cute, though! I did 3 coats shown below:
Cotton Candy Confetti is a layering glitter that was mega spectacular! It is filled with holographic pink, blue, and purple glitters resembling… what else? Cotton Candy! Perfect name for it! I layered it over Barielle Blossom (from the Barielle Wildflower Collection) because it is the perfect peachish pink (similar to cotton candy). The glitter is easy to fish out, which made me really happy! I can’t wait to layer this over other colors.
Pink Panther is my least favorite of the 5, but that is just me. Although, when I say that, I don’t mean that it is hideous. It is in fact pretty, just all the others are more my favorite! This one is also a layering glitter. It has pink glitter with gold diamonds. Initially, I was thrilled to see diamond glitter because I have nothing of the sort in my collection. When I put it over Sally Hansen Black Out, the first layer had no diamonds, and then, I shook my bottle gently and fished for the diamonds, and lo and behold, I had more than the amount of diamonds I had wanted on my nail. So, it all depends! I would shake the bottle and try for the gold diamonds instead of fish for them. The formula and brush, otherwise, were just great, like the rest of the polishes.
Overall, I must say I am going to be sleeping with one eye open just to see the new creations by the girls of F4 because they make really unique polishes! And, since Indie polishes are sooo in right now, you should check out their shop (which they recently restocked): http://www.etsy.com/shop/f4polish and their Facebook page (which will give you previews of upcoming creations, restocks on Etsy and all sorts of fun stuff to check out!): https://www.facebook.com/F4Polish
