Les Paul Cherry Sunburst Manicure.

Warning: Picture Heavy!

My husband’s guitar, the Les Paul Cherry Sunburst, was the inspiration for this. Everytime I looked at it, not only did it remind me how much I love my Rockstar, it inspired me to transfer the guitar onto my nails in the BEST possible way. Of course, I have never really done a gradient manicure before, but I decided to go with it.

I used all Zoyas for this: Pippa, Arizona, Maura, and Myrta.

I did 2 coats of Arizona before I did anything, and then I used a kitchen sponge (yes, a dish sponge!) and used the yellow side to sponge on Maura and then Myrta at the very tip tops. Then, I sponged a very tiny bit of Pippa and the bottoms to add a subtle gradient. I then used the green side to texture it up a bit. I think it turned out quite nicely, and I *REALLY* don’t want to take it off! 🙁

Here are a few shots!
