Essence A Lovely Secret and Gleam in the Blue

Essence is introducing 10 NEW colour & go quick drying nail polish for the Spring/Summer 2012 (from pastels to brights!). The suggested retail price for these are $0.99! I received 2 gorgeous shades – one in lavender and one in blue. The brushes are flat made for a quick and perfect application – they really do make the manicure and pedicure easier!

A Lovely Secret – The formula is made for 1 application, and I can say for sure that you only need that one coat for opacity! To be sure, I applied 2. This lavender is beautiful – it contains violet micro-glitter throughout giving it a little glimmer in the sunlight. It’s a perfect combination of night and day. The formula is a little runny, however. But, not enough to worry about your cuticles getting flooded.

Gleam in the Blue – A frosty sky blue. The formula is a little thick, so just wipe it off your brush before you apply. Gleam in the Blue is frosty, so you can slightly see the brush strokes, but it is a pretty blue, and reminds me a little of the ocean. I used 2 coats.

Essence nail polish is inexpensive, dries fast, and has excellent formula. Varieties of colors make it even better! I’ve used Essence before – in taupe – and I really LOVED everything about it, and I’ve been adding them to my collection because they are in sweet little bottles! And, $0.99 a bottle? What’s better than that?
