Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin

I have been in *AWE* with the Dream Bouncy Blush since I saw it at Ulta and in commercials. I really had to have it. I finally passed by the cosmetics aisle and stopped and stared. I finally decided on Peach Satin – it’s a gorgeous coral orange.

I (silly me, I must add) seriously expected the blush to be sponge-like, but it was not. To describe it correctly, it’s a little like lipstick in texture. I was a little disappointed that the color was not as strong because I had to apply it about 3 – 4 times to actually get some of the color on the apples of my cheeks. I did not use any primers, but I do apply Cetaphil on my face three times a day. I have been doing so since graduating high school, and that was 10 years ago (and now you know my age! Haha! 28, if you really want to know.) Regardless, I love that this blush is NOT heavy on my face. It’s just as they advertise: Revolutionary powder-gel formula. They have 10 different colors, and I honestly had a very hard time deciding between them. Who knows, maybe one of these days, I’ll grab some more? So, are you ready to see the Peach Satin on me? Well, here you go!

  1. Pretty! I had a similar disappointment with Maybelline Mousse… it LOOKED like mousse, but it was still very solid. I like this colour on you, though!

  2. I’ve been wanting to try this and it looks nice so I think I will. So what does the Cetaphil do? Because your skin looks beautiful!

    • Thanks! Cetaphil is a fragrance-free lotion that is so gentle that it can even be used on a newborn baby. I use it on my 6 month old, time to time. I love using it because it’s light and not greasy, at all. I definitely recommend it! 🙂
