Zoya Shawn, Sinful Colors Call You Later and a dash of Julep Oscar

Have you entered my GIVEAWAY today?? {{REMINDER: You can go to the link and tweet EVERYDAY for a +1 each day!}}

Zoya Shawn is a forest green creme. It applies like butter and is one of my favorite Zoyas.

As I said, Shawn applies like butter and needs (absolutely needs!) 3 coats of it otherwise you can see your naked nail underneath! I’ve done this before, and I wasn’t pleased with the results, so I do 3 coats, now. I think this is the only Zoya I have that is almost halfway finished! I’ve also water marbled with it if you’ve seen in the previous post. The brush is nice, and you have to make sure that you have a decent amount of polish on the brush, otherwise you can easily flood your cuticles and create a mess! I “sponged” on Sinful Colors Call You Later (a green and subtle gold micro-glitter) with the brush (not a sponge) and dragged it down to give it a gradient effect. On the very tip tops of my nails, I added a small amount of Julep Oscar (to give it a pot of gold effect).  I had too many ideas for a St. Patrick’s Day manicure, and I thought “Might as well put them into action!”
