Julep Rachel.

Have you entered my GIVEAWAY today??

Okay, so first off, please forgive me. I painted my nails in the dark while my son slept, and I just couldn’t turn on the light in fear that he’d wake up. I really needed to paint my nails. 🙂

But let’s get to the details! It’s a gorgeous warm copper. It totally reminds me of a penny. A brand spankin’ new penny straight from the mint. It also reminds me of freshly polished wood. The streaks were minimal. The brushes of the Juleps are slim but not so intensely slim that you have to really work hard to get that polish on your nail, which is definitely a plus. I really LOVE Julep and I feel that you CAN feel the quality when you put the polish on your nail. If you want to get polishes in the mail and sometimes BONUS goodies (I just got the St. Patrick’s Day MYSTERY Box – cue Ooooing and Awwwing for $19.99 instead of paying the hefty $60 – am definitely curious and excited because they usually send AWESOME goodies!) To get your own Julep boxes, go to www.julep.com! We will DEFINITELY talk about the Mystery box when I receive it! 🙂 Okay, back to Rachel. Rachel is a warm copper metallic foil (pretty much!) and just glides right onto the nails. I would definitely recommend this color if you love metallic foils and if you just love the sophisticated look that comes with copper! This is ONLY 2 coats of Rachel, and it was spot on the bottle color – no need for a 3rd coat, which was a lifesaver for me, considering my son was taking a nap (which ranges from 10 minutes to 2 hours – and who KNOWS how long his nap would be if I dare to paint my nails! 😉 Luckily I managed to get 2 coats on both nails with a base coat. So, all was good! 🙂 And, of course he woke up right when they dried. Lucky me! So, no time for clean-up. But, I really like this color and I have PLENTY of outfits and accessories to match it to. 🙂

No current favorite/want/need today! Check back with me tomorrow, might have TWO! 😀
