OPI Fly + Sinful Nails Nail Junkie (Accent Nail)

OPI Fly is from the Nicki Minaj 2012 Collection and it came out in January. It’s a creme teal and it’s gorgeous!

If you know me, I *LOVE* all teals. Even my wedding dress’ trim was teal! ūüôā I kind of wish I had worn this kind of color (on my nails) to my wedding instead of typical maroon!

So, of course, I *HAD* to have this! I really love the OPI brush because I can apply the polish with 1 stroke. I only did 2¬†coats (I’m a 3-coater snob, too!)¬†The formula¬†is thin, so you have to wipe the brush before you apply so you don’t get a puddle on your nails. As I said,¬†if you use the¬†brush like a fan¬†cuticle up, you¬†can get the polish on your nail in one swipe! Even though, the formula is thin, you really only need¬†2 coats for bottle color (no one is stopping you from 3, of course).¬†I applied Sinful Colors Nail Junkie on my ring finger. Nail Junkie is a sheer teal polish with silver and teal glitter (minute and slightly larger round glitter). Only did 1 coat of it and got a good¬†amount of glitter on the nail. If you decide to apply another coat of glitter, MAKE SURE it’s dry before you do otherwise it’ll wipe away your base color and¬†the¬†nail polish will appear to become gel at the tip of your nails. It was definitely a beautiful combo.

Current favorite/want/need:¬†¬†When I went to Sephora this past weekend with my boys, I stopped at the Sephora by OPI section and literally drooled over the gorgeous colors. I found one that I was in awe of and that was “I Only Shop Vintage” – a beige shimmer. Gorg.
