So, there was a sale. I know, I know. There’s ALWAYS a sale. Anyways, I grabbed A BUNCH of Sinful Colors because the price is fab and so is the application. Guess what? There are TONS of dupes for OPI and other nail polishes, so that’s a bonus! Anyways, let’s talk about “You Just Wait”. It was sheer and reminded me of the inside of a shell.
It is a pink/greenish golden duochrome. The disadvantage of that is that your nail looks like you covered it with a pink sheer nail polish over a yellowed nail. So not attractive. I would next time layer it over either a pale pastel pink, white, or maybe even a green or gold. I think I will like it better that way especially since it’s sheer. The formula was good for the money ($1.99 regular price, 99 cents on sale) and applied (3 coats to look like this, but the color in the bottle is just more gorgeous – maybe would look like the bottle color if applied over pale pink or white) just like any other polish in the industry. I give it a thumbs up and can’t wait to try my other polishes from Sinful Colors!
Here are some more pictures of You Just Wait to show you the true color of this nail polish and to display the duochrome:
Current favorite/want/need: My Cherry L’Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss ($9.99) – I purchased it at Ulta, but I think you could find it cheaper online (Amazon, Drugstore.com, etc.) I liked the color in the bottle, and I was REALLY excited to see THAT color on my lips, but it was just a plain old gloss with a really nice scent/taste (not that I ate it or anything… it just happens!) I layered it on top of my Revlon Colorburst Cherry Ice lipstick ($7.99), and it looked really nice and what’s BETTER is that it lasted a VERY long time (says 8 hours and lives up to its promise).
