Sally Hansen Lacey Lilac

When I go grocery shopping, I make it a point to go through the cosmetics section. Sometimes, I make excuses just to run through the aisle to drool over all the lovely colors. One such stroll, I found this beaute: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Color Lacey Lilac, a really soft feminine pastel lavender.

It took 3 coats to get it where I wanted, but it’s not sheer at first coat. To achieve bottle, you NEED those 3 coats. The formula is a little thin but not by too much. The end color is just delicious – I almost want to eat it. I have a lot of pastels, so you’ll also be seeing a lot of them since Spring is almost here. I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Color Invisible, which is pretty much a top coat on the top. I like Invisible because it doesn’t get clumpy or thick like most top coats do as they get older. I use a bottle up of this top coat really, really fast since I use it as both a base coat and top coat. This is totally my go-to color for Spring!! 🙂

Current favorite/want/need: China Glaze Pool Party – a NEON Hot Pink. It’s a pink I am SO surprised I don’t have (the picture does NOT do it justice!), and I saw it on a trip to Ulta this past weekend, and I’m kicking myself for not picking it up since it was the last one. Oh, well. I’m going to have to grab it next time I see it.
