OPI’s I Have a Herring Problem.

When I saw preview swatches for this polish, I was madly in LOVE because it just looks like liquid denim!! And, um, how cool is that?

It’s a beautiful dusty sky-blue with subtle silver shimmer. When I painted this onto my nails, it was very much like a matte finish with a subtle shine. You must be wondering: so what is it?? It’s definitely not matte, but it gives that sort of finish, which is why I see it looking like liquid denim! It’s glamorous because it’s blue and you know it’s happening this year! The brush on this polish was improved, I felt, as compared to the other OPI polishes that I have. OPI is definitely one of my first favorites, but I have expanded my horizon as my passion GREW and GREW. And, I decided to branch out and try out other polishes, but guess what? OPI still has my heart. When this collection was announced, I saw all the preview swatches and reviews, and I knew EXACTLY which ones I had to have. I have 2 of the 12, but we’ll see how long it takes to have them all. Mwahaha.  Anyways, back to my review. It took 3 coats to get this finish and even 1 coat was pretty nice, but to achieve the bottle look, you have to have at least 2 – 3 coats. I used my Julep Fast-dry Top Coat on the top. We’ll talk about Julep another day!

Current Favorite/Want/Need: My Fuchsia Lipstick. I have this, so it’s my current favorite. Revlon Fuchsia Fusion ($7).

Dupes for this lipstick are Mac Show Orchid ($14.50) and Wet and Wild  521A (Fuchsia with Blue Pearl) ($1)
