This recipe was awesome! I love breads, so I had to find a recipe for a flatbread that I could sometimes turn into a whole wheat pizza dough, which I definitely plan to do! I can swear that you won’t even know it’s whole wheat (if you don’t like the whole wheat taste; although, I can say I definitely love it better than all-purpose, not that I’m biased or anything. I honestly didn’t use a recipe and just experimented, but now I will have to remember this recipe! So, here it is for me and you! 🙂 Enjoy!
2-cups of 100% whole wheat flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 jar of sun-dried tomato without liquid
1 tablespoon of the sun-dried tomato oil from the jar
2 tablespoons of rosemary
1 tablespoon of black pepper
1 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning
Knead into a ball with warm water and then lay out flat on a cookie sheet and bake at 350* F for 20 minutes.
Obviously, if you’re making a pizza, just add some tomato sauce, cheese and whatever toppings! 🙂 But, if you are enjoying it as a flatbread, you can drizzle some extra virgin olive oil, a little more black pepper and some fresh parmesan cheese or whatever else you want to add: grilled veggies would be de-lish! 🙂
