They know a way to my heart. Sorry, Bollywood, but French movies are amazing! I saw one long ago, and I restarted watching them recently again starting with “Love Me If You Dare” because of Marion Cotillard’s acting in Inception. Puneet and I were discussing her French accent, and then, we did a little research, and saw that it (Love Me If You Dare) was on Instant, so there we went, added it to our Instant Queue and started our journey of French movies. I’ve got to say, it was definitely unpredictable!! Then, we went on to see: Priceless; He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not; Coco Before Chanel; Amelie – all with Audrey Tautou – my new favorite actress.
Anyhow, what’s better? French food. Mmm! Give me a croissant, anyday! 🙂 (My breakfast platter on Thursday, yum yum!)
And add a nice, steaming cup of coffee!
I almost took French in high school, but I was more interested in learning German because of our German neighbors in OK City. She was so loving and baked really awesome cakes. How could I not decide to learn German? I also wish I had been ambitious and tried to learn both at the same time, but it’s okay! Watching them with subtitles is treat enough! 🙂
And, gotta love French manicures. The do-it-yourself kind! 🙂
Tip for that: buy Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat & Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat. For the white nail polish, you can use any white polish. O.P.I. is usually THE best. Do your base coat, follow your white tips with the white nail polish, let dry and cover with the clear top coat.
Also, if your nails aren’t in a good shape, then file, of course! 🙂
That was my ode to everything French, or somewhat! 😉
